Land Down Under

I have committed a cardinal sin. I went to McDonald's today. And ate........a salad. Shocker, I know. I even brought my own vinegar and oil from home, and I must say, it was pretty good. Some of the lettuce was a bit sketchy, but overall, not bad. The only bad part was the price-- $7.45. Kinda expensive for McDonald's.


I really don't want to start working on this paper due tomorrow.....can you tell? I don't know how I'm going to make it through grad school-- I've had progressively worse senioritis since freshman year of high school. I guess I just don't find this assignment very interesting. I liked the Charlemagne one last year, even though I procrastinated with it, I really enjoyed researching and writing it. This one.....not so much. I didn't mind reading the book, but once you have to critically analyze how it examines the subjective experiences of the abused person and how it reflects the epidemiological understandings of child abuse.....yeah, not so interesting anymore. And I think inspiration for me comes in short bursts whenever it feels like coming....ie, 3AM. Then I have to run out of bed and write it down before it disappears, never to be thought again. For having such organized papers and other things in life, my brain isn't very organized. In fact, it's pretty much all over the place. It has a mind of its own, which I'm at the mercy of.


Okay okay I'll go work on it some more. Actually I just bought a duster and some Windex wipes....maybe I'll clean my room first....
