Environmental Psychology is officially over!!!
I studied hard all week last week. Well, a good portion of it, anyway. Okay a lot of it was a wasted week and it would've been more productive if I had had these exams last week, but I still put in a good effort if I do say so myself. On Saturday night a group of us all got dressed up nicely and went out for my birthday dinner. The group was: me, Mel, Boosh, Lara, Kate, Steve, Leona, Jacko, Al, Leachy, and Brucey. We went over to the Crown Casino Complex with the intent of going to Margos. Mel and I were a bit nervous about it though, because they told us on the phone that they don't take reservations, and we were a big group and Saturday night was their biggest night. We were right: they told us it would be a 2-3 hour wait. The rest of the group stayed around there while Mel, Leachy, and I walked around the rest of the complex in search of another good restaurant that wasn't rediculously priced. We ended up going to Sante, which is a buffet-style restaurant, and we only had to wait less than 30 minutes for a table. The food was very good, and the boys took full advantage of the fact that it was all-you-can-eat. After that we went to Max Brenner, where surprisingly we managed to not have to wait around for a table! We were all pretty full though, so most of us only ended up getting a hot chocolate or something like that. We got home around midnight. It was a pretty good birthday if I do say so myself, even though somehow the Happy Birthday song didn't make its usual appearance.Yesterday I crammed as much environmental psychology into my skull as possible, and I'm hoping that it paid off today. My exam went pretty well-- I finished before they called 10 minutes left, even though there were 6 (short essay) questions and only 75 minutes to do them in. After all, it was open-note. When I came back, Adam Falloon was kind enough to make Mel and me a bacon, onion, and cheese omelette, which was rather yummy. Now we're waiting for Boosh to get back so we can go to lunch, after which I will be taking a short nap (hey I've been up since 6am, I think I deserve it) and then I'll be up forever trying to remember as much about natural disasters as I can for tomorrow's Dangerous Earth exam. Can't wait til it's all over on Wednesday afternoon!
