Good Ol' College Fun
Well, Booze Cruise was really fun. The boat was almost completely covered though, so it got kind of hot down there, but even still, it's nice to dress up and enjoy an evening out every once in a while. I do have several battle scars though-- swollen feet, a blister on my big toe that takes up the entire bottom of the toe, several more smaller blisters, and a huge bump/bruise on my knee where I cracked it on my desk while getting ready beforehand. That last one really hurt. I'll put pictures from the cruise up sometime soon....after I finish my social work paper. I've been sleeping/working on it all day today, and so far I have 65 words written. Only 1,935 more to go! That amounts to two long sentences written, and the rest of the page and 9 or so more left. I decided (perhaps wisely) that going to Youth Alive tonight is just not feasible, although it would've been fun. I'm aiming for at least 5 pages written by the time I go to sleep tonight. It'd be preferrable if I just stay up all night and finish it, and then sleep til church (and after church) tomorrow afternoon.Facebook has really caught on here at Whitley! I congratulate the efforts of myself and the other 5 Americans with facebook profiles. Yay for starting trends!
I had a huge salad today for lunch, and it was really yummy. Actually today's lunch was really really good-- fries, pizza, and salad. Usually Saturday's lunches scare me a little, but they did a good job today. I'm excited to see what's for dinner. Speaking of dinner, I think I may go eat some now!
